Tim Karpisek started out at marketing platfom EmailGarage in 2008, where had several sales, marketing & account management roles. In 2014 he was one of the core members of the team who launched the first Belgian marketing automation agency RAAK. In 2016 in his role as managing director, he was responsible for strategy & marketing results for clients such as Carglass, MediaMarkt, Colruyt,… and helped grow the agency on a 20% average per year. In 2019, RAAK was one of the first agencies to join Intracto Group, which later on rebranded to the current digital powerhouse: iO. To this day, Tim is responsible for strategy and business development within iO on the topics of automation, data, inbound marketing,…. He is a renowned speaker at marketing events and frequently lectures at colleges for higher education and universities.
From marketing technology to meaningful technology
Marketing technology has an extreme potential to make a meaningful impact. Why? Because it can automate data & content at scale. Unfortunately, too often it is mis-used to focus on short-term business objectives, and we consider privacy & other regulations as blocking points for a quick scale-up.
