Bio:

Gerrit Vandendriessche is a lawyer at the Brussels bar and partner in the lawfirm ALTIUS. He practices ICT and general commercial laws since 1997.

He regularly advises on computer law, privacy and data protection, electronic communications, e-commerce, outsourcing, digital signatures and certification, software, cloud services, distant sales rules, commercial practices including (on-line) advertising, and general commercial law. He also conducts ICT-related litigation. He is a regular speaker at conferences and has an extensive publication record in the fields of ICT and commercial law. Gerrit is also President of the Legal Hub of BAM. Gerrit is a member of ITechLaw and IAPP. He is a guest lecturer on data protection at the KULeuven and the Free University of Brussels (VUB).
